I hope that everyone enjoyed their Christmas and that you are all rearing to go in 2005.

Further tips to help you to improve your business this year

  • Make a point of ringing your next level downline regularly. Your interest in their business activity will help to get them enthused in the business overall.
  • Strive to make one new business contact weekly.
  • As always, why not listen in and contribute to the weekly American Longevity conference call. This is always a good source of relevant information and tips.

Changes in 2005
We consistently look at ways that we can help you with your business. This means that are mindful of your needs and where we can, we change how we operate to better serve you.

Communications - A fall back for our phone system which had some issues during last year has been implemented. The technical change made will ensure that even if our internet communication link is disrupted, it should not effect our phones. This means that you should always be able to get to us during our business hours. We operate a call centre style answering system which means that we can talk to a number of distributors at one time and with additional callers queued and waiting for the next available customer service person. All your calls are important so if we are busy and you can’t talk to us straight away we ask you to please hold on. It is because we are talking to another distributor whose business is as important to us as yours.

Best Before dates - There have been some concerns with best before dates on labels. When we were nearing these dates the company was supplying Manufacturers Declarations that support an extended shelf life of that product. When necessary we will continue to make these available but in the future this requirement should be the exception rather than the norm. Now all label best before dates should have at least a two year expiry.

Product Information and Advertising - You are all aware that we were developing Product information sheets for all the therapeutic products. These have been completed and are available on the www.australian-longevity.net website in the product pages. These outline all the claims, warnings and active ingredient and other information, that can be used to advertise products in any format. Please remember that regardless that you may reproduce your advertising word for word from the website, all advertising requests must be forward to Australian Longevity for approval (there are no exceptions). Product information sheets are being considered for the food and cosmetic products but essentially these are easier to manage and so long as distributors do not attach any therapeutic claims to these products there should be no problems. However they still need Australian Longevity approval.

The Product Information sheets can be downloaded for your use and we will have hard copies available shortly from the office which distributors can request and arrange their own printing of stock. A product catalogue to incorporate the new information is being finalized.

Telemarketing - We are currently undertaking a calling program that involves our customer service ringing EVERY distributor Australia wide. This is a two fold project, to update our database details to ensure that we can always deliver orders to the correct address, as well as taking the opportunity to let distributors know of new products and hopefully to take their order. This has been well received with distributors happy that we are able to talk to them and give them up to date information. As well as building sales we hope that our contact can also rejuvenate or raise interest in the products and the individual business.

Conferences - On the drawing board for this year will be a company sponsored Australian distributor conference. Potentially this will be in Sydney and in the second half of the year. We are working on the details and its early days yet. I will keep you posted.

In addition to this, we plan to hold regular distributor gatherings in Sydney, to provide business and company strategic information and guest speakers, all designed to assist distributors to better understand the business and to assist the distributor’s business growth. I would like to be able to do this Australia wide if only as a conference call hook up to other interested distributors who are unable to attend or live interstate and that’s also on the drawing board for discussion.

These newsletters – We are incorporating an abridged version of these newsletters in every order leaving the warehouse and with every commission cheque that we issue. Everyone is busy and it may not always be possible for you to contact your downlines every time. By us undertaking this additional distribution we hope that we are lessening any pressure on you to always do this for us and that we are better supporting your business.

Register of Australian Longevity Distributor Websites (reminder)
I maintain a register of all websites relating to Australian Longevity products and/or Dr Wallach. This enables me to undertake audits of the sites and to assist distributors should any errors be found. I need you to email me at meddy@alglobal.com with details of all websites (as above) that you are responsible for.

Advertising Guidelines (reminder)
The previously distributed facts regarding advertising criteria that distributors must use have been produced to benefit you and your business. Any variations away from these guidelines are not beneficial to either yourself or the company. Distributors must abide by the guidelines and any help you can provide me to continue to get this message out is appreciated.

TAX (reminder)
I am happy to discuss any tax issue relating to your Australian Longevity business. Please note that I am not an accountant and I cannot give general tax advice. What I can provide is an understanding of how tax affects your commission payments and the documentation that you and your downlines need to have in place to take the best advantage of what the tax laws allow. Use of our Sydney premises (reminder)
Its free! I’ll even provide the electricity and the air conditioning, you provide your business tools and whatever else you need. The premises at Castle Hill are available for use by any distributor Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and during the day (9am to 4pm Monday to Friday). Bookings can be made by contacting Mike Eddy on 1800 756 467. Plan your events for 2005 now and let me know so that I can allocate you dates etc to use the premises.

Direct sales to distributors from our Sydney premises (reminder)
We sell all available products through our receptionist. Use the opportunity to purchase your products and save yourself the freight costs and waiting time for normal delivery.
