Co-ordination of future American Longevity visits (new)
To date, visits by American Longevity guests to Australia have been managed by distributors, with this office assisting as requested. Sometimes these visits can be difficult to manage, to ensure that all distributors who wish to be involved have the opportunity to do so.
In future I, Mike Eddy, will be the initial co-ordination point for all visits. This means that once I am advised by American Longevity of who are coming, their itinerary timeframe and any specifics that they require, I will contact all Diamonds and Warehouse Managers with the details. I will be asking for expressions of interest for dates and destinations and I will need these to be advised to me within a timeframe. This will ensure that I am able to finalise the itinerary in plenty of time and avoid late or unreasonable variation requests. It should however, provide for as many distributor requests as possible, whilst ensuring fairness all round.
Distributors will still be responsible to secure venues, arranging transportation, flights and accommodation for the visitors.
I have recently sent an email to everyone on this subject and have asked you all to respond to me regarding setting up a schedule of American Longevity visitors for 2005. I need your input as to who you wish to see out here and when and the numbers of meetings that could be conducted. Unless I get your input I am unable to plan these visits properly. I would appreciate your responses as soon as possible with the above.
New Products for Australia (new)
You would be all aware of the range of American Longevity products available in the USA. So, what do you want to see the company providing in Australia. All of you are the best judges of the sorts of products that would have good acceptance here or you feel would fill a need now. Please let me know and why. I am more than happy to put your requests to Steve Wallach for his consideration.
Product refunds and exchanges (new)
We have a 30 day money back guarantee for all products. Orders that are over 30 days but less than 90 days we can exchange product only. To receive a refund it is imperative that you return the product back to us in 10 working days of receiving an RMA (return material authorization) number from our office. The RMA process is very specific and you will be advised at the time of our requirements for returning the product. If you consequently decide to keep the product please let us know on toll free 1800 756 467. This will assist with tracking all RMA numbers issued.
TAX (new)
I am concerned that some distributors are still not clear on what is the appropriate tax details for them, that we should record at Australian Longevity. There has been exhaustive detail sent regularly to Diamonds and included in new Distributor kits and included with all orders leaving our warehouse, on this subject. I appreciate that it is detailed but it needs to be as detailed as it is so that all aspects of tax on commissions can be covered.
If there is anyone out there who is concerned with how we tax commissions or wishes further clarification on any point, I ask that you ring me on 1800 756 467. I am more than happy to take the time and go over any tax issue and in confidence.
Send your orders via email (new)
As a further option for sending your orders, why not email them to us. All you need to do is scan the completed order form and send the scanned image as an email attachment to Anna Swift aswift@alglobal.com. Remember, we can only act on the current order form and any emailed alternatives to the usual order form will not be accepted.
Use of our Sydney premises (reminder)
The Sydney premises is available for use by any distributor Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. In addition the premises are available for use by any distributor during the day (9am to 4pm Monday to Friday). Bookings can be made by contacting Mike Eddy on the 1800 number. Please let your Sydney downline know of this opportunity.
Direct sales to distributors from our Sydney premises (reminder)
We sell all available products through our receptionist. Next time you are in the Castle Hill area call into the premises and say hi anyway, but use the opportunity to purchase your products and save yourself the freight costs and waiting time for normal delivery. Please let your Sydney downline know of this opportunity.
Australia Post and Allied Express Courier Services (reminder)
As a general rule, any order that is faxed or telephoned in to the office leaves within the next 24 to 48 hours from our warehouse. All PO Boxes will be shipped by Australia Post. Australia Post has informed us that it can take up to 5 to 10 working days to be delivered to your address. All other parcels will be delivered by Allied Express, either to your home or business address. In order to help assist you better, we ask that you use a Business Address. If this is not possible we ask that you assist us by having instructions to leave your parcel somewhere secure on your property (e.g. side or back of rear door). Allied Express will deliver parcels Australia Wide within 5 working days. Should you require your parcel the next day, we can use their overnight express service at an additional cost to you. Please notify the Customer Service Department if parcels are not received within 10 working days.
Policy & Procedures Handbook (reminder)
The Company has compiled this working document to provide distributors with the framework for their business activities. It is important that you ensure that everything you do is in accord with the policies and procedures outlined by the Company. Every distributor should have a copy of the above guidelines and you should refer to them whenever possible. Should you require clarification on any aspect, please contact Mike Eddy and he will resolve your issue. Should any of your downline require a copy, please contact this office.
