Training Tips From My Lips

Prospecting for Gold - Prospecting is the lifeblood of your business. If you find the thought of making a lot of calls daunting, think of yourself as panning for gold. The gold prospector knows that what he’s after is somewhere in amongst all the sand. He takes one pan full of sand, then another, and another, sifting through it until he finds the gold he’s looking for. There is no shortcut to this sifting process. If the pan doesn’t produce gold, the prospector doesn’t resift the same sand, hoping one day he will find gold. Rather, he moves on to a fresh load, knowing if he keeps sifting new sand, sooner or later he will find flecks of gold and, from time to time, the rare gold nugget.

You’ll find that about 1 percent of your recruits turn out to be the rare gold nugget – people just like you who know what they want and are prepared to do what it takes to achieve it. Keep looking for them. One of the most frequent errors of judgment I see in this business is someone focusing their attention and expectations on people they have already worked with unsuccessfully. If you keep working with the same people, you’re not going to improve your results. The only answer is to be constantly finding new people. The more people you sift through, the greater your chances of striking gold! Keep sifting new sand.

The second half of the year is well under way and I am seeing some re-energised distributors really making a difference out there in the field. There is a strong unified spirit returning as distributors from different downlines are working together and sharing together at training venues around the country. Congratulations to those who have attended and are gaining the benefits of coming together for the common purpose of building a success base with the fantastic Australian Longevity products. A wonderful journey lies ahead and the road indeed looks very exciting for those who are committed and focused on networking the AL business with a passion!!

As I move onto a new business venture with my partner Kevin, I wish to take this opportunity to thank every single individual I have had the pleasure of speaking with, or meeting with, over the past 6 months. My decision to leave certainly is not based on my dissatisfaction with my job; on the contrary I have loved every minute of it! Sometimes life places new opportunities in our path and it is for this reason alone that I commence my next journey – rest assured that I will continue to use the products forever and I am very grateful that Australian Longevity came into my life to solve my own health issues. The second Australian Longevity Conference will now be held on February 16-17, 2007 at Luna Park Convention Centre in Sydney. A registration sheet is included with this Newsletter and will be posted on our website. Check-in begins at 6.00pm on Friday 16th and the event concludes at 11.30pm on Saturday 17th.
